Unfortunately, I think that many of the products that sell well are those that make grandiose claims about push-button, overnight riches. I don't know if it was because of the great reviews, but a big name marketer approached me within an hour of my launch. You can make great friendships there to move you forward when your friends and family don't understand what it is you want to do by working online. The worst thing for sellers is that there are a lot of scarcity-minded buyers such as serial refunders and those who are looking for scams. The worst thing for buyers is that there are a number of fake-it-til-you-make-it sellers on there who are less than honest about their earnings and methods. Luckily, I think that the latter are dying out.
Make sure that you choose a topic that people are buying in. Put your own memorable brand on what you do, that is enough to make your product "different". Also, don't pretend to be an expert if you are not. If you have seen small successes, you are better off saying that you “have success with a method you think will really blow it out of the water if you scale it”. Be authentic and people will appreciate it.
