Be sure to check the weather forecast as well, as you don't want to be stuck outdoors in a bad storm. Make sure you are aware just how rough the terrain may be that you'll be riding on. If you are ATVing in the winter time, never take the ATV out on ice as you have no way of knowing just how much weight the ice can hold.
