Chapter 1: Introduction

You’ve Got Mail!

Welcome to “Relationship Marketing With E-mails”!

In this book you learn all about one of the best ways to build your Internet marketing business – which is through E-mail marketing.

But before we dive in, let’s take a look why E-mail marketing is so effective in the Internet marketing industry.

- E-mail marketing is one of the fastest ways to leverage on the Internet. Because all you do is compose an E-mail, customize it to suit the reader (their first name or last name), and click the broadcast button to reach thousands of people instantly!

- E-mail marketing is highly scalable. Unlike an ‘offline’ business where the more customers you have, the busier you are, in E-mail marketing, it is much easier because regardless of the size of your mailing list, whether it is 100 or 10,000, all you need to do is click broadcast and everyone on the list gets notified – all for the same effort!

- E-mail marketing is highly targeted. One of the reasons why E-mail marketing is highly effective at getting sales is because the recipient of the E-mail gets a kind of ‘in your face’ promotion. You are marketing directly to the customer through their PERSONAL mailbox. Not only will you grab their attention firmly, they will tend to respond with the right buyers mindset because they are marketed to directly (unlike other advertising where the buyer might not be in the frame of mind to buy things).

- E-mail marketing is personal. Autoresponders allow you to customize the E-mail in such a way that it allows you to connect with the subscriber individually. The more personalized your E-mail, the better the result (treat it as though you are writing to your best friend).

- You can automate many tasks with your autoresponder. For every new opt-in subscriber, you can time your E-mails for you build a relationship with every new opt-in subscriber – what to send to them, when to send it to them and the frequency between each E-mail.

- E-mail marketing acts as a good pre-sell. You might not be able to cram a sales letter into your E-mail, but at least you can pre-sell your subscriber and lead them to your blog, sales letter or website to check out what you have to offer and set them in the right frame of mind before they evaluate what you have to offer.
In the next few chapters, you will learn the techniques on how to build stronger bonds, instill stronger credibility and increase your opt-in list response with relative ease… all with E-mail marketing!

Chapter 2: Building Relationships

Developing The Competitive Edge

One of the most important things you must do to achieve success online is to build a solid relationship with your subscriber.

Building a relationship is important because it can make the difference between making a sale and losing it to your competitor.

You see, just like in real life, if I had to choose between a friend who provides a service like car repair and a stranger who offered the same price, I choose my friend in less than a heartbeat.

Why? Because I’d rather give HIM my business compared to another stranger.

E-mail marketing can be quite competitive at times. Therefore when two marketers are promoting the same product, having a strong rapport with your subscribers will give you a competitive edge.

Take for example:

During a massive launch online where high ticket items are being sold and tons of marketers everywhere are sending E-mails to their subscribers, most marketers would be offering bonuses to ‘bribe’ their customers to buy through their affiliate link.

Sometimes, 3 or more would be pitching the same offer with similar value. So the question you should be asking yourself is if you were in the shoes of your subscriber, why should your subscriber buy from YOU instead of other marketers?

Once again, if you have built a strong relationship with your subscriber, they will be on your side – especially if you are trying to win an affiliate contest.

Tips On Building Rapport With Your Subscriber

One of the best ways to build relationships with your subscriber is to strengthen the rapport between you and your customer.

Here are a few ways to achieve that:

- Keep in touch with your mailing list often. Don’t mail them only when you need to promote a product.
- Ask about their needs and concerns. Use questionnaires and get them involved. Ask them what they want you to provide for them to help them with their Internet marketing business.
- Send them gifts sometimes. It could be in the form of free reports, blog templates, graphics or even free membership access!
- Be personal. Let them see your human side or your personal life. It sure beats dry, stale E-mails that talk about product launches all day.
- Be educational. When you impart something of value to your subscribers, they will see you as a teacher and listen to what you say. This will come in handy when you want them to ‘listen’ to you and buy whatever you are selling.

Chapter 3: Instill Stronger Credibility

Establish Yourself As An Authority

When you take a look at the average Joe on the street, you may think that there is nothing special about them – until they step up on a podium and start talking about a subject with an air of authority surrounding them.

If you want to succeed at Internet marketing, you must be able to instill stronger credibility to your subscribers by establishing yourself as an authority on your niche market.

For example: when you are talking about making money through product launches, you must let your subscribers know about your credibility either before or after they opt-in to your mailing list.

Here are a few tips on establishing your credibility:

- Talk about your experiences online and offline. If you’ve run an offline business before, use it to establish your credibility as a business builder. If
you’ve been in sales and marketing before, use it to establish your credibility as a copywriter.

- Show them screen shots of how much money you’ve made online (or checks you’ve earned). If you don’t have any of these, use photos of well-known marketers you’ve taken pictures with (e.g. look, here is my picture taken with Mike Filsaime)

- Let others tell the story. It would be better to let others sing your praises – especially in the form of testimonials.
Use E-courses To Build Credibility Over Time

People may not be impressed at the first glance. Sometimes, it takes a few E-mails for people to recognize your capabilities.

One of the ways you can build your credibility over time is to write an E-course or a newsletter that will be sent to your subscriber’s E-mail over a period of days or weeks. It must be something educational – something that will establish you as an expert on the subject.

You can configure your autoresponder to send an E-course once everyday, every two days or a weekly newsletter. So long as the subscriber reads your educational material over a period of time, you can slowly work your way into the heart of your subscriber and stamp a firm impression in their minds.

The Name Of The Game

Hi there. Welcome to Evergreen Leads Business.

If you're new to doing business online, read with an open mind and leave behind your struggles and frustration. And if you're a seasoned marketer, good! Now it's time to go great.

Whatever business you're in right now, whether you’re...

- Selling your own product as a vendor
- Promoting other people's products as an affiliate,
- A coach looking for Clients,
- A service provider,
- An MLM / Network Marketing Distributor...

This book has the answers you seek. It is the missing puzzle that most business owners and marketers alike are seeking and when you put it all together, this will add another digit to your income. Maybe two.

You should have a reason for having this book in your hands. This book will change your life, the same way it did for other internet marketers out there.
Bold statement? No, understatement is more like it.

If you are new and clueless on what to do, but all you know is you want to make money online, then this is going to save you months, or easily years of guesswork.
If you have been trying to succeed for a long time with no results, the coming pages will de-mystify Internet Marketing for you. Evergreen Leads Business is meant to take the complicated stuff and break it down to simple-to-follow steps.

If you have been buying one shiny object after another - STOP. This book is the missing puzzle that will show you how to put together the things you've purchased and transform them into a tangible, cash-generating machine.

If you have your own product, or bought the rights to another product, but don't know how to get Customers, the answers are staring back at you.
If you are an affiliate promoting other people's products for commissions, this book will show you how to build authority on par with the vendors you promote. The last thing you want to be right now is another 'me too' marketer.

If you are a Network Marketer and run an MLM business, the same holds true. It's a red sea to compete with thousands, tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of other people promoting the same product as you. How would you like to discover an edge over your Cross-lines and even Uplines, and grow your network even if you have exhausted your own contacts?

If you are a service provider or a Coach, and you have trouble looking for Clients, often times the real problem isn't so much in the way you sell but rather it's a PROSPECTING problem. The good news is, the same method to sell products is also applicable to attracting high paying Clients.

All in all, every business needs one thing: LEADS.

Picked up a common pattern?

Every business has a lead problem.

Even if you have a proven sales system, you will still need leads. You can't possibly sell anything if no one even knows about you in the first place, yes or yes?
And no matter how big your business grows, you will still need and want MORE leads.

Unfortunately for most people, the only experience they have is frustration. That's why most marketers desperately resort to hard-sell, hype and heavy-handed sales tactics. And as a result, they betray their insecurity to their prospects. And what happens? Either most prospects leave, or the few Customers they close will become disgruntled buyers.

There are a few recurring 'themes' or common causes of failure when it comes to internet marketing businesses. Most of the time, the reason why most businesses suffer has to do with lead generation.

Who is This Guide For?

This guide is for anyone who wants to create their own digital product and start making money while they sleep. In many cases, the people reading this will be prospective digital marketers who want to make the most money possible while not investing huge amounts of time, or capital up-front.

But really anyone can benefit from this strategy. If you're currently working a 9-5 job, then this is something you can easily do in a few evenings a week in order to generate a huge supplementary income on top of what you're already earning.

Alternatively, this book will also be suitable for business owners currently selling physical products. Why not add a digital product to your repertoire which can help you to add another revenue stream that can be re-invested into inventory?

Why Launch a Digital Product?

Before we get into the nitty gritty of how to go about creating and launching digital products, let's first take a look at why you should be doing this in the first place. What's so great about a digital product anyway?

The obvious answer is that a digital product is something you can sell with zero overheads. It will take a little time and perhaps some up-front investment in order to actually create your product but from there you'll then be able to generate income without having to reinvest anything. Unlike selling physical products, there's no need to invest in inventory and stock or in manufacturing and material costs.

You don't even pay for delivery! Apart from a couple of fees (such as PayPal fees), the money you generate from digital products is almost 100% profit. And what this also means is that when you don't sell anything, it doesn't cost you anything.

There's zero risk here. In the best case scenario you will earn huge amounts of money while you sleep and potentially be able to quit your day job and buy that yacht. In the worst case scenario, you'll occasionally get the odd $50 that you can spend on a nice meal without feeling guilty.

Furthermore, because there's no risk and no cost involved in building digital products, there's no reason that you can't build 50 of them. This then completely removes the 'luck' aspect and means that as long as you have the time to invest, you can pretty much guarantee that you're going to succeed. Is your ebook or app only selling a copy every week? Fine – then make seven and you now have at least one sale each week. Chances are though that with seven ebooks, one of them will be a big hit…

Traffic Generation PLR Ebook

Introduction

Of all the things a successful online business owner needs, traffic is at the very top of the list. But not just any traffic. What you’ll need in order to achieve success is targeted traffic. That means people who are seriously interested in whatever information, product, or service you happen to be promoting.

Fortunately, there are numerous ways in which to generate traffic. Some good. Some not so good. But if you handle them properly, any and all methods of gaining additional traffic can be beneficial.

For example, pay per click advertising is an excellent source of attracting highly and specifically targeted viewers. And the more you step up your pay per click campaigns, the more traffic you’ll receive.

In fact, there’s no end to the amount of traffic - laser targeted traffic - you can ultimately generate. Just keep picking the right keywords and funding the account.

On the free side of traffic generation, you have search engine optimization at the top of the list. It’s the most popular and widely used free method which can bring in hoards of viewers or a mere trickle, depending on the keyword or keywords chosen for web page optimization.

But when it comes to keyword SEO, quantity doesn’t always beat out quality. That mere trickle of viewers who respond to a certain “obscure” or less than competitive keyword might not be large in numbers but they’ll be extremely large with regard to how targeted they are.

Conceivably, you could get much better results from the 100-a-month trickle viewers than you would from 1000 viewers responding to some other keyword.

The point is, any targeted traffic - which means any viewer who is specifically interested in what you’re offering - will provide solid and positive results. Whether that equates to more subscribers signing up for your mailing list or more people purchasing your products or services, it still spells success.

Of course, pay per click and keyword SEO aren’t the only super stars in traffic generation. Another very effective method of gaining traffic is to write and distribute your own articles. Just pick a topic, one that relates to what you’re promoting while at the same time is associated with a targeted keyword. Then write an article around that topic and include links that funnel people to the page or pages that contain information about any product or offer you mentioned in the article.

Other methods of traffic generation include…

· link popularity

· starting your own affiliate program

· posting on discussion boards

· posting comments on blogs

· creating and distributing free ebooks and software

· creating and distributing software utilities

· forming alliances with other business or product owners

· offering product testimonials and endorsements

· distributing a syndicated column

· making your blog or website content available through RSS

The list goes on and on. Just use your imagination, either to improvise on already established methods or to come up with your own creative ways of generating more traffic.

Of course, the best traffic methods are the ones you can set in motion once and still receive good results over an extended period of time… for weeks, months, or even years to come.

For example…

If you place a post on a discussion board, it will remain there indefinitely. Along with your signature file and/or reference to a specific URL address.

If you write an article and submit it to directories, it will be available for as long as those directories are in existence. Along with a link back to whatever page or pages you’ve chosen to mention within the article and resource box.

If you create a free distribution ebook or software utility, it can be distributed and passed around for as long as there’s a perceivable value. Along with advertising messages and links that lead to whatever you’re promoting as well as your primary website.

If you start your own affiliate program, you could have hundreds - if not thousands - of people promoting your products or services for you. Along with links back to a page on your main website.

And of course, each and every one of these methods would be driving targeted traffic on a regular and continuous basis. All because you set something in motion once.

Regardless of what methods you use, it’s always a good idea to implement the most powerful ones first. That would include keyword SEO, pay per click advertising, and writing and distributing your own articles.

Once you have those types of traffic generating methods solidly in place, start implementing the other methods. As many as you feel comfortable with.

But don’t stop at any point and time. Whenever you have the time to do so, keep adding traffic generation methods as well as increasing the volume of those that are already in place.

That’s the way to ensure that you’ll not only receive a substantial amount of targeted traffic, you’ll be able to consistently raise the numbers. And like all aspects of marketing and promotion, the more targeted prospects you attract, the more income you’ll ultimately bring in.

Traffic Generation Methods

Search Engine Optimization

When it comes to generating targeted traffic for free, this is by the far the most effective method you can choose. That is, assuming you do it properly.

The whole objective is to optimize individual pages for specific keywords. Viewers search for those keywords, find your page listed in the search engine results, and subsequently go to that page.

Of course, there are specific details that need to be addressed in order for this method to bring in scores of targeted traffic.

For one thing, you need to choose the right keywords. That would be…

· keywords that are directly related to the content or subject matter of a particular page

· keywords that are widely searched for each and every month by a considerable number of people

· keywords that have little or no existing competition by other websites with similar content and/or purpose

You then need to create quality content that’s based on each of the keywords you’ve chosen. The more content you place on your website, and the more content-laden pages you create, the more search engine traffic you’ve receive.

The only problem is, it takes a great deal of time and effort to create individual web pages.

Especially since you have to create them with search engines in mind.

It’s not just a matter of jotting down subject matter and getting it on your website. You need to carefully choose topics that can be optimized for keywords that can generate the most traffic, either individually or collectively.

One thing you can do to cut down the amount of work involved is to use a program like Traffic Equalizer ( http://www.trafficequalizer.com ). Once you’ve chosen your keywords and created your page templates, you allow the program to generate all of the web pages for you.

But it’s not just about how many pages you can create. You also need to focus on the content, mainly because it plays such a large role in how search engines assign value. Which brings the topic right back to keyword optimization.

RSS Equalizer ( http://www.rssequalizer.com ) is a program that can help in both of those areas. First and foremost, it can automate the process of placing RSS feeds on your web pages. (If you’re using Traffic Equalizer, you can code the templates so that all the pages generated will display RSS content.)

Secondly, it has the ability to display content based on whatever keyword is being used (optimized) on a particular page. That means the content for each page will be highly specific, directly related to the keyword for which it was created.

But whether you create and optimize pages manually or t hrough the use of software programs, the only thing that really matters is the choice of keywords. Choose ones that will attract the type of viewers and prospects you need and you’ll continue to receive unlimited traffic for free for as long as your website exists.

Pay-Per-Click Advertising

If you can afford it, pay per click advertising is the most effective and productive method of gaining traffic.

And since you choose and then bid on keywords that are precisely and specifically associated with your offer, you’re guaranteed to receive highly targeted traffic.

Another top benefit is the fact that you can start receiving traffic right away, oftentimes within minutes of launching a pay per click campaign. Which in turn means you can begin to receive financial benefit almost immediately as well.

Naturally, you’ll want to conduct a fair amount of research before diving into any pay per click campaign. That includes choosing the right (and most effective) keywords for your particular niche, determining how often those keywords are being search for each month, and establishing how much competition already exists for each keyword.

Once you’ve conducted all the necessary research, you then need to isolate the keywords that would most likely generate the best results.

Performing each of the tasks involved in that type of research can be performed manually. Or, you can save a great deal of time and effort by simply using a program like Ad Word Analyzer ( http://www.adwordanalyzer.com ).

What’s most important about the pay per click ads you write is maintaining a balance between the amount of targeted traffic you attract and preventing too many clicks from people who are not seriously interested in what you’re offering.

Seo Strategies PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview:

Introduction

The first goal of any search engine optimization strategy is to get your web pages indexed. But even before that can happen, you need to get the search engine crawlers to visit your website. Depending on the search engine or directory and the overall circumstances (how you invite and solicit crawlers), that first visit could take days, weeks, or even months.

And while it’s true that the initial crawler visits can be somewhat unpredictable (or take a long time in coming), once the ice is broken, future visits can be controlled to some degree…

Basically, the more frequently you update your pages, the more frequently the crawlers will show up on your website doorstep.

Of course, that’s only half the battle. The other half is getting the search engines and directories to actually index your pages.

In order to do that, you need to start at the beginning. And the beginning in this particular instance is developing and enhancing pages in such a way that the search engine crawlers will be impressed.

The overall search process is simple…

All the text content that search engine crawlers gather is stored and indexed. People conduct searches based on certain phrases (keywords). Whatever content possesses the most relevancy with regard to any given keyword will be placed in the top positions of the search results.

And since the title of the page and the text content generally carry the most weight - at least with regard to what search engine crawlers deem most relevant during their visits - it stands to reason that improvement in page rank and/or search results listing can most often be attributed to having individual and specific keywords properly incorporated into those two prime areas.

Of course, if keywords were the only basis for which page rank and position in search results were determined, optimizing web pages would be pretty much cut and dried…

pick a keyword > use it in your title and throughout your content > achieve high page rank and top position in search engine results The problem is, there are so many variables that not only come into play but change on a regular basis, it can seem as though achieving solid and effective search engine optimization might never be possible.

Fortunately, it’s not only possible, it can be relatively painless as well. All you have to do is satisfy the top three requirements of pretty much all major search engines…

· provide quality content

· update content on a regular basis

· get numerous top-ranking websites to link back to your site

And the search engines and directories you should be trying to impress the most are the top four contenders…

Google

http://www.google.com

Yahoo

http://www.yahoo.com

MSN Search

http://search.msn.com

DMOZ (Open Directory)

http://dmoz.org

Beyond that, there are countless other search engines and directories like AltaVista, Ask Jeeves, and AllTheWeb.

Should you optimize for those as well, or simply level your sites on the major players and bypass all the search engines and directories below them? Not necessarily. You still want your pages listed in as many locations as possible. You just shouldn’t try to satisfy every one of them with regard to optimization.

Satisfy the top four contenders. Then, if you have the time and ambition to broaden the scope of your SEO efforts, do it. If not, don’t worry about the hundreds (or even thousands) of other search engines and directories that exist.

You’re only human. And just meeting the optimization criteria of the top four is going to be challenging and energetic enough.

Of course, unless you plan to make search engine optimization your life‘s work, it’s not likely you’ll invest most of your energy in that one single area (even when restricted to the top four players). But you do need to invest a fair amount of quality effort.

And that basically equates to these two missions…

1. Get your pages indexed by major search engines.

2. Improve your page rank and position in search results.

In order to accomplish both of those, you need to carefully balance the line between good optimization techniques and the urge to take things a bit too far.

In other words, you need to make certain you carry out your two missions without stepping over the line into what’s commonly referred to as “black hat” search engine tactics.

That dark and evil territory would include things like…

Keyword Stuffing - repeating keywords over and over again for no logical or practical reason

Hidden Content - including keywords or text that’s the same color as the background for the purpose of manipulating search engine crawlers

Doorway Pages - not intended for viewers to see but rather to trick search engines into placing the website into a higher index position

Although these types of practices were once considered intelligent and effective methods of optimization, they can now result in having your website banned from search engines entirely. In general, it’s better to concentrate on the most popular and most reasonable optimization techniques. By doing that, you’ll not only achieve the results you’re looking for, your efforts will have long lasting results.

And when you consider how much work is involved in getting any website to the top of search engine rank and position, it’s worth whatever effort it takes to get it right the first time.

Search Engine Strategy Basics

For the most part, there are three basic things you’ll need to do in order to accomplish proper and effective search engine optimization.

· compile keyword lists

· publish keyword-rich content

· establish a beneficial link strategy

Naturally, having software that can help you accomplish those four things quickly and efficiently would be a great asset. So, in addition to exploring each of these areas, we’ll include the best software programs for making each task easier to perform.

Now that we've got that out of the way, let's get on with the good stuff! Let’s face it… we all love YouTube. We’ve spent countless hours watching chubby babies giggle, cats do tricks, and that kid named David chatter after a visit to the dentist.

Perhaps you’ve taken your love of YouTube to the next level and started your own YouTube channel. It sounded like a great way to boost your business, right?

The only problem is that making videos is only one part of the process. Then comes the hard part: actually getting people to watch your videos.

If you have ever wished you could figure out the secret to make your YouTube videos a success, I have good news. I’m about to show you how to take your YouTube channel to a whole new level.

In fact, if you follow these simple step-by-step principles, your YouTube video can on the first page of Google and YouTube within days.

Did you know that YouTube is the second largest search website on the entire Internet? YouTube gets more daily searches than Bing and Yahoo. In fact, there is only one search engine that gets more action.

You probably already guessed it! That’s right, it’s Google. Of course, you may already know that Google actually owns YouTube. Because they are operated by the same folks, you can enjoy some pretty amazing rewards from both if you play your cards right.

But before we get too deep into the relationship between YouTube and Google, let’s get back to the basics and make sure you have a good understanding of how YouTube works and how you can use it to your advantage.

YouTube Is The Future Of Internet Marketing If you want to know how to optimize your business for the Internet, the key is to stay ahead of the trends. If you can predict the future of Internet marketing, you can beat your competition to a great marketing strategy and enjoy success while they are still figuring out how to catch up.

That’s why YouTube is crucial. Video is going to be the future for Internet marketing. Cisco predicts that by 2015, at least 90% of web traffic is going to be video based.

Right now, 60 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube every minute. That means 1 hour of video goes up every second! Obviously, people are crazy about YouTube! The growing industry of online video is nothing to be laughed at. Sites like Netflix and Hulu are pulling in mass quantities of people too.

Many people are abandoning cable television or expensive satellite programming in favor of watching their favorite shows and movies online.

With that in mind, YouTube marketing is a safe strategy to make sure your website gets ultimate visibility both now and in the future.

Get Going With YouTube NOW

If you think you have time to figure out how YouTube really works, think again. We’ve reached the tipping point where more and more people are going to do video searches and it’s time to cash in on this new wave of technology.

If you put it off, you’re going to be too late. You need YouTube marketing and you need it NOW.

By jumping in and learning the logistics of making YouTube work for you, you’re going to be way ahead of your competition when they finally figure out what’s happening and try to join the YouTube movement. Chances are that your competition is still worrying about how to get their website to hit the #1 spot on Google searches. But here’s the thing… you can grab a top spot with an amazing video and you can do it with much less effort or expense.

Remember, Google and YouTube are friends! They work together so you can harness the power of this team and make it work for you.

When you start using YouTube properly, you will see a huge rise in your rankings with Google and it won’t take long. In fact, it could happen almost overnight.

Why is that #1 spot so important? It’s the key to unlocking thousands of organic searches. When someone does a Google search, research shows that they click on the top result 36% of the time. The second spot gets 12% of clicks and the third gets 9%. From there the numbers drop considerably for each position. If you aren't on the first page, you might as well not exist these days.

Now if you think you can beat the system by paying for Google AdWords, you’re wrong. Paid results that show above the top search result still only receive around 5% of the clicks. It’s definitely no substitute for ranking at #1 the good old-fashioned way!

Imagine what it would be like if you could not only rank #1 on Google, but have a video that ranked #1 on YouTube too? You would now control prime real estate on two of the most popular search engines in the world!

So let’s get started...

Unwrapping the Anatomy of YouTube

There are two basic parts of YouTube: channels and pages. If you want to be successful, you have to know the difference.

YouTube works as a secondary website and the channel is your homepage. Each video you make is a secondary webpage.

By adding more videos, you strengthen your channel. You want your channel to be as strong as possible so that your site will rank higher.

So how can you beef up your YouTube channel? Here are a few principles to guide you.

Keep It Relevant

If you want your YouTube channel to have authority in your niche, make sure your videos are relevant. For instance, if your website focuses on dog training, don’t post random videos about gardening. If you are working on multiple niches, create a separate channel for each one. Mixing up a ton of unrelated videos on one channel is a recipe for YouTube disaster. No one is going to know what your channel is about, what purpose it has, or why they should care what you have to say through your videos. You’ve got to be relevant to build authority. You’ve got to build authority to rank high on Google. So rule #1 is to keep every video relevant.

Video With Purpose

We’ve all stumbled on those videos where someone is rambling about their products with no clear call to action. It’s painful, isn’t it?

Don’t be one of those rambling YouTube rookies. Instead, think about the purpose of your videos before you ever make them.

What are your goals for this video? What do you really want to accomplish?

For most of us, the purpose will be to grab new readers for our websites. The video is supposed to be a little sample of the great information your website offers. You want to whet their appetite and guide them to move to the website and buy your products or subscribe to your updates.

Ask For What You Want

There’s no need to make it a guessing game for the people who view your YouTube video. Tell theme exactly what you want. You need a CLEAR call to action in every video. You can do this is a few ways. The easiest method is to mention the link to your website listed in the video description. Ask your viewers to click it and check it out.

Go a step further and mention the awesome benefits they will enjoy by opting in to your list.

When someone visits your website from YouTube, you are already at a clear advantage. These are not blind searchers. They have purposely clicked to your website because they are interested in what you have to offer.

Take the time to track where your traffic is coming from. Your YouTube traffic will convert at much higher rates than organic search traffic. Just check the stats and see for yourself!

Chapter 1: What is Internet Marketing and Why Should You Care?

Internet marketing simply entails promoting your business on the web. Any marketing activity that is carried out online is considered ‘internet marketing’ and that includes:

Search engine optimization (SEO)
Content marketing
Social media marketing
PPC advertising
Influencer marketing
Press releases
Email marketing
And more…

These various pillars of internet marketing can each help you to bring more visitors to a website or a blog and that in turn then gives you the opportunity to promote your business and hopefully drive ‘conversions’ (i.e. turning visitors into customers).

What makes internet marketing so effective is that it doesn’t have to cost a huge amount to be successful. You can spend an awful lot of SEO and content marketing and thereby try to get your site to the top of Google, but sometimes it just takes one smartly placed link to drive huge amounts of traffic to your site.

And if you’re willing to put in consistent time and effort, then anyone can build a massive, loyal audience thereby become a big influencer in their niche. Thus, internet marketing is the ‘great equalizer’. Marketing no longer requires a huge budget: it is now something that you can do just as well as the largest organizations – as long as you’re smart with it.

Internet marketing has other advantages too: it allows you to actually engage with your audience for instance. Using social media or running contests means that you’re able to interact with the very customers you’re trying to obtain and get feedback from them. Then there’s the simple fact that the web is capable of reaching such a huge audience – including people from all around the world. If you’re selling something with international shipping, then this is by far the best way to reach a global audience.

Who is Internet Marketing For?

For all these reasons, internet marketing is for everyone. No matter what type of business you are running, you should be able to benefit from internet marketing and find that it can help you to increase your brand visibility, to grow your audience and to make bigger profits.

Some businesses are only able to exist thanks to internet marketing. These are the entirely online businesses, such as people who sell ebooks. Ebooks are digital products with no overheads and by marketing them correctly, it’s possible to make huge amounts of sales that will earn you almost entirely profit. Ebookscan be something of a hard sell, but the fact that you can reach such a massive audience and engage with them directly means that you can get enough turnover to earn big profits. These businesses only exist thanks to internet marketing!

Other businesses also rely very heavily on internet marketing. If you sell a service online, such as web design or copywriting, then using internet marketing will allow you to ensure that the maximum number of potential clients sees your website and considers hiring your services. Knowing how to reach that audience online is the difference between long dry spells where you aren’t bringing in any cash and a steady flow of orders and income. Of course, the same is also true for an ecommerce business which exists to turn visitors to a website into paying customers in a similar way. Amazon actually spends over $1 million a day on Google AdWords alone, which shows you just how much the company values its internet marketing.

But it’s not just online business that can benefit from internet marketing. Big brands like CocaCola, Red Bull, Marvel, Ford, Best Buys… they all spend huge amounts on internet marketing because they know that it is now more effective than spending that same money on print media or television. And the same goes for small businesses like hair dressers, restaurants and highstreet stores; and sole traders like plumbers, builders and lawyers. As we will see, anyone can benefit from internet marketing and it is the single most efficient way to increase footfall for your company.

Let’s Do This! What You Will Learn

The only thing holding most people back of course, is the simple fact that they don’t know how to go about internet marketing – they don’t understand how SEO works, they’re not sure how to reach ‘influencers’ and they find social media awkward. If you find yourself in that situation then don’t worry; this book is going to teach you everything you need to know in order to develop any kind of internet marketing campaign with confidence. Best of all, we’ll help you learn to create smart internet marketing campaigns – the kinds that get maximum results with the least amount of cash and time.

We just said that Amazon spends $1 million a day on AdWords and that might make you wonder how on earth you’re supposed to compete. The answer? You’re not! Our aim is not to take on huge corporations head-to-head but rather to find the path of least resistance – to identify those corners of the web where lots of potential customers are waiting and no one is currently marketing to them. You’re going to learn how to do that and much more over the course of this book.

Specifically, you will learn:

How to choose a niche and find your audience
How to create a stunning website in no time at all
How to drive conversions so that visitors = customers
How to climb the ranks of Google using smart SEO
How to provide value through a blog and become a thought leader in your industry
How to build and run a mailing list
How to create a thriving and popular social media channel
How to write stunning articles and killer sales scripts
How to use press releases, video sales letters, sales pages and other tools
How to work with other internet marketers
How to create your online business
And more!
So let’s get down to it…

Chapter 2: Starting With Solid Foundations

As we saw in the introduction, internet marketing is for everyone and can apply to many different types of business. For the purposes of this book though, we are going to broadly categorize readers into two groups:

Those with an existing business they want to promote Those wanting to set up an online business or make money directly through internet marketing

And for now, we’re going to concentrate on the second group. If you already have a business, this is still worth reading but if you’re in a rush to get to the good stuff, skip through to the section on website creation.

Choosing a Niche

If your plan is to build an entirely online business and to make money either directly from a blog, or perhaps by selling digital products, then the first thing you need to do is to choose a ‘niche’. The term niche in this context essentially refers to a subject matter, an industry and an audience. In other words, a niche can be ‘health’ or it can be ‘knitting’. This is what your blog is going to be about, it is what the products you sell should be about and it will determine precisely who your business is marketed at.

Choosing your niche is one of the most important steps in creating a successful online business and the reason for this is that it will directly impact the amount of competition as well as the size of your audience. If your subject is ‘health’ then you’re going to be going up against millions of other websites and this is going to make your life very difficult indeed.

When you write a blog post on ‘how to get abs’, it’s going to be incredibly difficult to get that to the top of Google seeing as there are so many other blog posts on getting abs.

Likewise, if you post in a fitness forum and mention your ebook, then it’s not going to stand out or be interesting because there are so many others.

Conversely though, you also need to avoid choosing a niche that is too narrow. If the niche you choose is ‘earwigs as pets’, then it will only be a matter of time before you have marketed to the majority of that audience and there is no one left to buy from you…

Another important consideration when choosing a niche is what you can offer the audience and how much they are likely to spend. When creating a product, it is always useful to think in terms of the value proposition. This basically refers to what your product is offering to the buyer and what gives it its value, which should be much greater than the face value.

When you sell an ebook on getting fit for instance, the value proposition comes from the fact that your buyer will hopefully be much fitter after reading your book and applying the knowledge they learn. You’re not really selling a book at all, but rather a sexy, toned body. You’re selling confidence, you’re selling energy first thing in the morning and you’re selling physical attractiveness to the opposite sex.

Introduction: Why Most People Fail With Losing Weight (When They Really Don’t Have To)

People struggle with losing weight. Sure, there are tons of reasons for this – convenience of unhealthy food, peer pressure, lack of focus, lack of dedication, lack of motivation, lack of knowledge concerning proper nutrition...

The list goes on.

You likely know several people that want to lose weight right now, or that have tried in the past. Maybe they DID lose weight, but most people that DO lose weight end up gaining most (if not all) of it back within a year.

Marketers and the media capitalize on this niche of consumers like vultures. They hawk their latest and great diet fads, contraptions for losing weight and getting in shape with increasingly less work and effort, and worst of all: everything sounds like the next best thing. (Yeah... if only.)

With new diet and weight loss books, programs, courses, and “silver-bullet” solutions coming out every single day promising rapid results with less effort than ever, where do you even start?

Well, what if I told you that you DON’T need the latest and greatest fad or contraption? What if I told you that I can break down in just these pages exactly how to lose weight – and keep it off – without breaking your back OR the bank?

One guy – Tom Ness – lost 15 pounds in 30 days (actually, it was only 28 days) using this information. In fact, it was one of the easiest things he’s ever done. And now I’m going to tell you exactly how he did it.
To be blunt, you only need to do three things:

1) Restructure your diet

2) Workout in a way that burns fat while adding muscle

3) Build in a system of accountability

If you do these three things, you can’t fail. In the following pages I’m going to show you the easiest ways to do all three.

Chapter 1:

Diet Lifestyle Reconstruction

First things first: if you want to lose weight, you need to immediately change how you eat.

If you’re not thin and lean (or at least where you want to be), then you must realize that what or how you’re currently eating is keeping you fat.

I can already hear the excuses:

“I don’t eat that bad...”

“I don’t want to give up some of the things I eat...”

“I don’t have money to eat healthy...”

Awesome. Any more excuses? May as well get them out right now before we go on, because things need to change if you want to see results.

This isn’t a “diet”. “Diets” don’t work because we (as a society) associate them with holding back, starvation, and pain. Even the word “diet” conjures up a mental image of a half-empty plate, hunger pains, and a set period of deprivation.

Does this sound familiar?

You see or read about a new program to get in shape and lose the pounds, so you decide to give it a go. You get all hyped up to start your new program, get everything all ready and prepare your meals in advance, and do really good for a couple days. Maybe you even make it a week. Hell, some people even make it two.

But then, one day, you wake up for work late. You didn’t prepare your meal in advance and don’t have time to pack anything before you leave. At work on your break, your only option is fast food because you don’t have time for anything else. Either that or you’re really hungry and just want something fast, so you cave for that one meal (or two).

But that night, realizing you’ve already blown your “diet” for the day, you decide to just make it a cheat day and splurge. Now it’s Thursday night and you’ve blown your nutrition out of the water. Mentally lashing yourself, you decide to renew your healthy vigor tomorrow.

But that next night – Friday night – you’re invited to go out. Everyone’s having a couple drinks and you obviously don’t want to be the one person out NOT drinking, so you have a drink. One turns into two or three (or more), and after the bar everyone including you is hungry so you get something to eat. The only places open late are the greasy, fried places, but you’ve been drinking and are hungry so you say “Oh what the hell” and get something anyway.

Realizing your diet is now shot, you decide to just take the weekend off and start again on Monday. Monday will be the day; you’ll do really well on Monday...

That's what happens to most people when they go on "diets". They almost set them themselves up for failure before they even begin.

Instead of “going on a diet”, you need to restructure your lifestyle. Lifestyle changes last longer than diet plans because they fundamentally change what you eat and how you view your health and nutrition.

Sure, you can go on a “diet plan” for let’s say 30 days and follow it to the letter. But what happens after those 30 days (if you even make it there)? Are you just going to do that plan again, and again?

After you stop, unless you’ve changed your habits – your lifestyle – you’re going to revert to your older, unhealthy habits that you’ve spent the last 30 days trying to undo.

That’s why you need to develop the mentality that this is a lifestyle change. You need a permanent solution to nutrition, which comes down to proper education and a game plan to be healthy.

You don't want a limited-time solution; you need a permanent one that will allow you to get the pounds off and keep them off, and NOT gain everything back as soon as you finish the program.
With all of that said, let me tell you exactly how Tom personally restructured his diet to drop pounds almost effortlessly – while still feeling full most of the time!

Chapter 2:

The “5 Pillars” Of Weight Loss And Why You Need Them To Make It Work

Here are the basics of this program. Consider these the “Pillars” of this reconstruction phase:

Pillar #1: Stick to five 400-calorie meals per day.

Here’s an unpopular fact: there’s a strong correlation between the calories you consume and how much you weigh. (Crazy, eh?)

However, this is the most important part of this program since it’s what you actually consume on a daily basis. If you’re going to lose weight, you need to regulate what you eat. You need to know what’s being consumed and what it’s doing for your body.

For the first week of this program, eat four 400-calorie meals and drink at least 8 cups of water each day (I’d recommend drinking even more than that). This is to reduce the amount of food traveling in your body and “clean” you out. Consider this your healthy body cleanse.

After the first week, eat five 400-calorie meals. Note that you’re consuming the same amount of calories each meal, you’re just eating one more meal each day than you were in the first week.

Not only does this breakdown make for a consistent meal plan, it also makes each meal that much more important. If you only have 1,600-2,000 calories to work with each day, you need to make sure you’re planning them out correctly so your body gets the proper nutrition.

Pillar #2: Make sure you consume Monounsaturated Fats with every meal.

Not all fats are created equal. Yes, you want to avoid some fats like Trans Fat. To scare yourself, go ahead and Google “why is trans fat bad?”. I’ll leave that one to Google to tell you.

So what about good fat? Those would be the monounsaturated fats.

Facebook Cash Bandit Whereas other social media sites provide occasional distractions, Facebook has become one of the main reasons that we go online. Its users outnumber the population of any country on Earth and those members are more highly engaged than they are on any other site. At a party, you are just as likely to ask for a stranger’s Facebook name as you are their mobile phone number. Facebook is used to plan weddings, to organize stag parties, to share holiday photos and to catch up with old friends. Even employers use Facebook to conduct background checks on future employees. Facebook Cash Bandit

Getting Started With Facebook Ads

What’s the first thing you’re going to need in order to start being successful with Facebook Ads? A Facebook account?

Nope!

What you’ll need to begin with is even more fundamental than that. Specifically, what you’ll need is a brand, a website and a product to sell. If you’re going to use any type of advertising, then you of course need something that’s worth advertising!

And that thing you’ll be advertising needs to be compelling and exciting enough that you can find a large audience of people who want it.

So let’s take a look at where we’re going to get started: by choosing a niche. If you already have a niche, blog and product Facebook Cash Bandit then you may consider skipping this chapter. My advice would be don’t: we’re going to be covering some fairly advanced concepts here and you might decide that you actually want to reconsider your current strategy once you’ve read it through… Choosing Your Niche Your niche is of course your subject matter. This is the topic you’re going to be tacking with your blog and therefore, the industry that you’re going to be looking at with your product. For example, you might decide that your niche is going to be fitness and that your product is going to be a weights bench. The two inform each other because you wouldn’t want to have a website about sewing and sell weight benches from there! More importantly, this also informs your audience. That is to say that you’ll now be aiming your website, your brand and your marketing at people who like to work out with weights. That means that you’re going to be targeting more men than women and possibly sporty/athletic types. Alternatively, you might go the opposite way and decide to focus on women, the elderly or even teenagers. And doing this would be wise. Ultimately, the whole point of a ‘niche’ is to find a subject matter and a product that will have a relatively niche appeal. In other words: something that isn’t going to be appealing to everyone. The reason that it makes sense to do that, is that this will allow you to focus on a smaller group and thereby spend less on advertising while also having a clearer value proposition.

Facebook Cash Bandit We’ll get into this in more detail later on but suffice to say that Facebook Ads use a PPC format. That stands for ‘Pay Per Click’ and what this essentially tells us, is that we’re paying each time that someone clicks on the ad. The amount we pay is related to the maximum budget that we set when we created the campaign, as well as the number of other people targeting the same spot with the advert. When two advertisers both have ads that can appear in a given place on Facebook, they will enter a bidding war. The advertiser with the highest maximum spend will win and will pay the smallest amount that was needed to beat the competition. So if there are two advertisers trying to advertise on the same spot and advertiser A has a 20cents maximum bid and advertiser B has a 50cents maximum bid, advertiser B will win and will pay 21cents for each click. The more popular a niche, the more you’ll pay to have your advert there. And the more popular a niche, the more competing products you’ll have to contend with. No doubt your audience has seen thousands of weights benches in their time and know precisely where to buy them. But have they seen one that is aimed specifically at women with a more feminine design? Have they seen one that is aimed specifically at older people with stiffer joints? By going niche, you can solve a more specific problem and be the best choice for a particular person. This is better than trying to be the generic choice for everyone.
