The greatest asset you'll ever possess is yourself. An asset is something that's capable of making valuable donations to your success. In contrast, liabilities are those things that lack the potential to make positive donations to your success. A crucial lesson to learn in life is how to downplay liabilities.

Liabilities come in all shapes and sizes. Some relationships can be a liability. If the relationship takes away from your success in life more than it imparts it would appear to be a liability. There's a cliche that fits well here. It says "I can do badly all by myself." I also like to use the ATM analogy. It goes like this. If somebody is making more withdrawals than deposits they are a liability to your account.

Pluses on the other hand must be picked out. Assets must become precedence in your life. You must learn to center on your assets. Most assets have the potential to bestow more to the success of your life once you invest in them. Investing is knowing how to change and move resources around. Making a wise investment calls for giving resources to an asset that we believe has the potential to increase our opportunities for success.

You're your biggest asset. Inherent within yourself is great potential. Investing in yourself step-ups this potential. Investing in yourself as well creates ways for you to release this potential. It would be a calamity to go through life and never make an investment in yourself.

Most individuals who are really prospering in life have exposed the potential they have within themselves. They made an investment in themselves through training, training and skill development. These investments are now paying off. A few individuals simply get paid for what they know. Other people get paid for what they do.

I prefer getting paid for what I know as I'm simply not into working very hard just to survive. I believe there's a better way to live life than to spend hours of our lives daily engaged in some arduous task.

A wise man once said, income is simply a reward for resolving problems. The more complex the problem you are able to solve the more your reward. You can solve many more problems when you invest in yourself.
