OK, so far we've been looking exclusively at using RSS feeds to distribute our content to other places on the internet, building backlinks, updating our sites on the fly, and gaining exposure for the stuff that we've already created. Now it's time to take it a step farther.
In this section, we're going to use RSS to dominate our niche, and we're going to do that by using RSS as if we were readers rather than as if we were marketers. Are you ready for this?
What a reader does with RSS is to copy and paste the feeds from their chosen websites into a centralized program (called an Aggregator) that reads these feeds and monitors their content. When a new piece of content is posted to a feed, it can then be displayed to the end user as a link, and they can visit it if they determine this content is useful to them.
We're going to set up an aggregator in this section. Not just any aggregator, though. We want one that will give us very useful information about our niches and help us beat the competition.
